As a part of the Web Design 2 class, we were directed to create a multi-platform marketing campaign. This could be an event or a special deal (real or made up) for our “business”. Drew’s Burgers is a real business located in New Jersey. However, it is a VERY new business and the owner is not ready to run a special and isn’t participating or sponsoring in any events. Therefore, I made up an event for the sake of this exercise.

I created 3 social media posts for use on Facebook and Instagram. Again, since Drew’s Burgers is a real campaign, these were not posted to the actual social media platforms. However, I will be talking to the owner about some opportunities to create a special in the near future to help increase his business.

I created an email that includes details about the event which I blasted to my class, per instructions, and created a post about the “event” in my blog.

I found it most challenging to define an event for this particular business because it is a brand new food truck and located in New Jersey. I think it would have been easier to 1) work with a client that was actually in need of this service, or 2) create an event or special/sale for a different business.
